	the mods are getting out of hand. witness my current project. the stained glass depiction of saint aran serves as the primary façade of the cathedral. i've since filled in the brick around her in an arch which will eventually sweep back and fan out to encompass a much larger scene of two petrified chozo skeletons melded into the rear arch holding aloft a metroid rosette. yes, that is my chocobo in the foreground. her name is skippy.

the mod pack in question, big dig, covers a lot of ground. metals are ubiquitous and take on a much more significant roll. not only am i building a cathedral out of metal bricks, i built a vending machine to automatically buy the necessary ore from other players on the server using coins i minted myself (suck on that, bernanke!). you may have noticed my sword looks odd. with more metals comes more alloys, and an age of steel visits the overland. oh, and that house floating off in the sky? auto-generated. there's a mod that puts weird shit like that in the sky or nether fortresses in the middle of the ocean, complete with ghast spawners so you either go monster slaying or your forests burn to the ground. and creepers are still motherfuckers. they home in from sooooooooooo much farther away now and the bastards don't die in sunlight!
