The reason people think they need to hire SEO firms is simple ignorance.  The vast majority of techniques have bend well documented since before google was founded and are trivial,y easy to I'm
lament.  if you have a bigger site than you have thevtimebto optimize yourself, hire a high school student who has taken a web designbclass in school.

If my advice were implemented in  Scoop every Scoop site on G-d's Green Earth would have ten times the Google Juice they do now.

Note that Webmasterworld hates Content Managemen Systems with a passion because the actively harm SEao rather than enhance it as they could be easily made to do wre CMSs designed by a Webmaster withbreal world SEO experience.

Many if the one man shops at WMW are just like me in that we find we get vastly better SEO with hand edited static documents

not all of my SEO methods are documented but none are a secret.  I haven't written all of them up yet but only because I haven't had the required heads pave yet.
