V: Anyone else stick it out to the end.

I liked it, and I hope they bring it back. Anyone else?

Spoilers below.

The call-girl from Firefly makes a pretty good evil queen, that's for sure.

I'm sure I missed plenty of references to other movies, but when the little hybrid girl turned out to have super powers, I couldn't help think of Paul's sister, Alia the abomination, from Dune. Having good Lisa and evil Lisa is kind of a cheap trick though, as was the secret underground fortress-of-good-guys (Men in Black?). Not particularly sorry to see Tyler go. Not sure about the deadly tail things. Not sure Diana's dead either -- they fixed Marcus up, didn't they?

It isn't something you can over-analyze though. If the aliens can fly through space they can probably monitor cell phones, but you just have to let that go.

and was fascinated by the premise and treatment.

I tried to watch the new V, i really tried, but I found it to be boring. i wanted it to be more hardcore SF, but its seemed to be more of a teenage soap opera where the focus was on the relationships and sexual tension between characters.
