80's video game art...

So while stumbling around some old ass manuals and such for some ancient system I thought it was funny how the artwork was so much better then the game... But as time went on, the style of art used from the late 70's to the early 80's died out...


Then I came across this little gem.

I wonder what kind of 8bit monstrosity it would have been...

But it's probably for the best it never happened.
