Ask K5: List All Tags In CVS?

Is there a way, in cvs, to get a list of all the tags that have ever been applied to a particular source file?

A web page I found led me to believe the following would do it:

cvs history -a -T

But I think that just lists all the tags in the repository for the current versions of all the files. When I tried it just now, it didn't show an older tag that I know is in there.

Google yields no insight.

Thanks, and yes, I'm well aware there are better solutions than CVS. It's what I have.

Have you tried that?

"You can use the `-v' flag to the status command to see all tags that a file has."

It's probably too much to hope for, but (none / 1) (#5)

is it possible that this inquiry was actually related somehow to the development of Ogg Frog?

Netbeans 6.0 has a pretty good CVS client (diffs, merges, shows tags and branches) and supports cross-platform C/C++ development.
