The Los Angeles Times tells us that the Apollo era scientists and engineers at NASA seemed to be "bloodless clones" of the "pale and male" profession of aerospace. As an example of how far NASA has come since the Apollo era, the LA Times offers up a picture of "Key players on the Jet Propulsion Laboratory's [Mars] rovers team--showing the changing face of science--are, from the left Jamie Dyk [white woman], Kobie Boykins [black], Adam Steltzner [foreground, Jewish], Wayne Lee [Chinese], and Shonte Wright [Black]."

They call that "diversity".

I hope JPL isn't falling for this racial diversity bullshit, and instead just hiring based on REAL MERIT. I fucking hate modern racism.

The people who modern racists are practically as retarded as the old racists. I hate all people who internally think of other races as "THEM" and their own race as "US". THAT'S JUST STUPID.

Here's an idea: Why don't you develop some sort of meaningful distinction and stand on your own, as an individual? Oh wait, that would be too hard. Let's just get our sense of worth from other people of ACTUAL worth who happen to have the same colored skin, or the same eyes, or the same hair.

And if you're thinking "This guy must be white", you are right, and you are also a moron if you think that it matters.

Damn, someone needs to fix this social problem with a technological solution. Some caring bio-engineer needs to make some sort of virus which sets everyone's skin color to the exact same thing, so people just can't CARE about race.
