So I just finished Catch-22, a wonderful book. However, the ending somewhat bothers me. Did Yossarian make it to Sweden?

I've done a few searches on Google for information on Yossarian's character, and a large amount of plot summaries state explicitly that Yossarian did make it to Sweden, despite the fact that the novel doesn't tell the reader outright. Perhaps I missed out on some symbolism, or a large indication that he made it. I personally hope he did, and I know it's probably up to the reader to decide. Could the literary types can fill me in?

the small-breasted swedish woman, and moves to denmark, where he sets up a small bakery specializing in sweet pastries. It is a great success, but the time-demands are too stressful, and he sells it on (for a tidy sum).
He heads north to Norway with his new wealth, and whilst buying some new loafers, meets an attractive young shoe-maker named Norwegianshoemakergirl. They are soon married. They now live in a well-to-do suburb of Oslo with their two children.
