Chomsky used to write for the Cato Institute

Well, I never knew that. Noam Chomsky, the famous far-left libertarian, used to write for the ultracapitalist Cato Institute journal, he reveals in this interview. The main topic of the interview is the real reasons for the drug war at home and abroad. The interview is insightful, as I've come to expect from Chomsky.

On a positive note, he mentions decriminalisation of marijuana at the end - some progress on this is being made in the UK. There are now serious proposals for medical drugs derived from marijuana to be licensed, and decriminalisation. Some sanity entering the equation perhaps.
